CASL Interpreting is an American Sign Language interpreting referral service located in and serving Southern California, with a strong presence in the Coachella Valley. We also provide conference interpreting services throughout the country. CASL Interpreting takes great pride in our professionalism by maintaining an Organizational Membership of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). Our founder has a long held Certified Member status with RID. You can be confident in knowing we adequately protect you when providing our services with Workers Comp, Professional Liability, and Errors and Omissions Insurance. Our Philosophy

At CASL Interpreting, our goal is to provide each of our clients with language ACES: Access, Clarity, Ease, and Satisfaction. Communication should be simple and stress-free. The CASL team began this agency with the purpose of making it easier for Deaf, and hard of hearing persons to receive quality language access in all aspects. It’s the reason why we work hard to provide interpreting services that seamlessly allow all consumers the appropriate service for every setting. We’ll do the work.

All interpreters who contract with CASL Interpreting abide by the Code of Professional Conduct as provided and enforced by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. CASL Interpreting prides itself on being a reputable agency specializing in interpreting services that only serves the Deaf, and hard of hearing communities.

Our Founder

Martin Yost, a nationally certified interpreter is the founder of CASL Interpreting. He was born in Washington DC but was raised in Oregon where he received his education in the interpreting field over thirty years ago. Since then, he has lived and worked as an interpreter practitioner in multiple states and cities. He has called Southern California his home for almost twenty years while interpreting in a broad variety of settings with challenging levels of discourse. After living in San Diego for over fifteen years, he came to identify the Deaf and hard of hearing community of the Coachella Valley to be under-served by way of scarce access to quality interpreting services. Martin Yost established CASL Interpreting, now based out of Indian Wells in the Coachella Valley, to help bridge the gap in communication access, challenging barriers and providing CASL Interpreting services throughout the Coachella Valley and beyond
